I have a BA in History and I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. I am currently in the process of looking for professional library work. I love to read, of course! I enjoy science fiction and fantasy, as well as classic literature and especially Russian literature. My favorite authors include Douglas Adams, Jane Austen, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, and Octavia Butler. If I had to choose one all-time favorite book, though, it would be The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, as I have many fond childhood memories of listening to my father read it.

When I am not reading, I have all sorts of interests and hobbies that I pursue. I enjoy opportunities to get creative, whether it is through baking and cooking, hand embroidery projects, or trying something entirely new! I also enjoy getting to see the creative work of others - there are so many talented people in the world, and seeing what they create inspires me further. Along those lines, I love going to museums and soaking up artistic and historical works.
