About Me
Gonna cut to the chase and say that I've only ever dated within my race, it's what I'm attracted to..(sorry for the disclaimer)
Also, if you voted for the current leader of our administration and are still proud of that. Don’t bother, we won’t get along.
My life:
1. Family/Friends
2. Travel
3. Music
1. My family and friends are of the utmost of importance to me. I am very close with not only my immediate family, but many aunts/uncles/cousins and such. Even if we are spread out 10 miles or 500 miles, or more...they are the people I cherish the most, and I am lucky to have each and every one of them in my life.
2. I love to travel. I have been to many places, both domestic and abroad. I have family and friends all over the world, and I am lucky to be able to afford to visit them often.
Some of my favorite places in the US: Palm Beach (most often out of town weekends spent there), Charleston (a close 2nd), Chicago, San Diego, Oahu, HI (lucky that my best friend married a military man - gives me free places to stay all over the world), NYC
My favorite places abroad: the Greek Isles (Santorini being the favorite, but it was all amazing) Italy (only saw the northern half Venice/Rome/Florence...really want to go back to see some of the Amalfi coast) Many of the Bahamian Islands...too many to name. I have SCUBA dived and/or snorkeled a lot of them. Some of the prettiest beaches/waters and nicest people in the world are only an hour's flight away. I am up for any place that my passport will go.
3. Music...I especially love to see it live. There are way too many favorites to name. But the top "never gets old" are: Amos Lee, Lord Huron, Dawes, Imagine Dragons, ZBB. My current playlist is Kings of Leon and The Head and the Heart.
I read. A lot. A wise woman once said, "never trust anyone whose TV is bigger than their book shelf". You get a little bit of a pass with the e-book accessibility. Reading is good for you (and so sexy) That being said, I've gotten into a bunch of awesome shows too. My favorites: TWD, SOA, GOT, Scandal, Suits, lots of original Netflix too. I tried Breaking Bad and couldn't get into it. I've heard Dexter, House of Cards, and Homeland are good too. Any TV or book suggestions?
I have a successful and enjoyable career which affords me both the time and money to do what I love. While I do have this stable job and home, I would definitely be willing to move if the relationship needed it to work out.
I am just looking for someone to share it all with. Even if you only want to be a travel and/or concert buddy, I am always looking for more people to enjoy life with. If something more develops, all the better.
What I am looking for is:
Personality wise:
Fun, full of life, willing to explore the world, ambitious/motivated, kind, faithful, confidence without****ness, family-oriented, genuine.
Looks wise (completely superficial):
White--sorry if that offends you
Taller than me in heels--I'm 5'5'"
Healthy/fit--cares about their body, but not too skinny either
No facial hair or maybe a "5 o'clock shadow" or well-tended to full beard--any other kind of design (soulpatch/fumanchu/goatee/chinstrap/duck dynasty beard....no....just not ok, ever) I know it can always be shaved...but, why are you putting designs on your face to begin with?!?
I currently know of 5 internet dating induced marriages. So, I know it works..
If your message to me is “how r u?” or “u r hot”. I can guarantee that I won’t respond. It only takes about three seconds longer to spell it out and it makes you look a hell of a lot more educated.
Oh, and leave a name. I am always surprised to get an email with no name. Isn't that the first introduction?!?!?! A good suggestion for an icebreaker email: what is the significance of your username? I'm always interested in that!
