What does Will Ferrell, Trevor Noah, a bottle of wine and some silk pajamas all have in common? That’s my idea of an awesome Saturday night. If you like any of these things, we’ll get along great, especially if it’s after long day of exploring or hiking. I also enjoy crafting, painting, and cooking, you know, things that are good with your hands. Talent (or appreciation of this) is a huge plus. I also like to garden and play retrovideo games (they don’t make them like they used to!) but that might be a little less sexy (tho I can probably get creative on that end if you like it too, ;) ). In regards to physique I’m extremely curvy and do hit the gym pretty regularly, so these curves are probably not going to be going anywhere. I run, and like to play sports recreationally, so a partner for that would be great! I’m fine with someone a little less in shape as long as you’re willing to try and can keep up and do things with me. Ideally I’m looking for someone to go explore and do adventures with, whether it’s at one of the state parks, checking out a local brewery (my fav so far is 3 floyds), or doing something new and exciting (I’m from New York state, so this isn’t hard).
Actually, speaking about that, one of the first things people notice about me is I have a slight accent and speak quickly. That would be because I am actually a transplant from New York (and I’m also excitable. Because hey, life is short). I moved to Fort Wayne for my job (I’m a cataloger…or since most people don’t know what that is, I’m a Librarian with a Master degree) which I love. New York was fun, but a bit too fast paced for me. Not that it’s not fun to visit and I will forever love my friends in Brooklyn and Queens! But there’s just something special about Fort Wayne that you don’t appreciate unless you’ve lived in other cities. Also it’s more family friendly which I’m more interested in being thirty five. While I have yet to meet someone I would want to have children with, it doesn’t mean I’m opposed to the idea or dating someone with kids. My niece and nephew would tell you I’m the best auntie they have. (I know being 35 in Indiana usually means divorced with 3 kids and a mortgage, I’m more the New York 35 which means single, career/life focused, renting, and owns a dog or cat).

In terms of my ideal guy I really love someone who’s creative and good with their hands ;) I’m also a geek with an advanced degree, so yes I have an understanding and appreciation of the nerdier things in life (computers, museums, concerts etc.). But I try to balance that out with physical activity and nature, so any interest in that would be a positive too. I like people with a lot of character, since I think I have a bit of a strong personality. In regards to religion I was raised Presbyterian and do periodically go to church (probably not as much as I should). I didn’t used to go at all but then I started going again after my mother died, so I would be open to doing more of that. I don’t always want to give up my Sundays, so it’s been a bit of a dilemma for me. What else? Well I feel I’ve written a book already (like the ones I make computer records for) so I will let my pictures do the rest of the talking.
